Investigating the Past, Informing the Future.
Heritage is integral to understanding who we are, as individuals and as communities. By learning about our shared past, we learn how to be better friends, neighbours, and citizens. Cohesive and compassionate communities are beneficial for both personal wellbeing, and the wellbeing of society as a whole.
Our mission is to widen participation in archaeology and heritage projects, with a particular focus on those who have, historically, felt excluded from these activities due to their socioeconomic background, disability or accessibility needs, or simply a lack of representation.
Archaeology and heritage projects can be a catalyst in rebuilding self-esteem, improving social skills, building community cohesion, and creating a sense of wellbeing in individuals and social groups.
Our team has a unique combination of professionals who, between them, have qualifications in archaeology, teaching, military medicine, mental health, social care, and health and safety. We have significant experience in leading excavations, both in the community and commercial archaeology sectors.
